When I spent a day-long layover wandering around Warsaw last year, I spent the majority of the time admiring Polish pottery through shop windows. The exquisite pieces are still made from the country’s high-quality clay and hand-painted. As soon as I noticed The Peacock’s Eye Polish pottery shop, just down the street from my internship, I had to visit, and I couldn’t walk out without a traditional bubble mug.
Ceylon cinnamon, also known as “true cinnamon,” straight from Sri Lanka. Can’t wait to use it in my favorite tea.My search for the Origins Clear Improvement mask, featured last week, led me to find these Boscia Pore Purifying Black Strips. They’re a little pricey, but I was intrigued and looking for an alternative to the Bioré version, which actually seem to create even more damage by leaving a sticky residue. I was happy to find that the Boscia strips, which use charcoal powder to draw out impurities, are much more effective, and I’ll be adding these to my biweekly routine.
My first ever “cake push-up” from my favorite dessert bakery in the area. Where have these been all my life?
Have you ever seen Jimmy Kimmel’s Lie Witness News series? It demonstrates just how far people will go to look “cool.” And it’s hilarious! Here’s the most recent edition, interviewing SXSW attendees. And if you feel like listening to bands that actually exist, check out these music videos.
Does the icing stick to the cover of the cake push-up? This is a burning question!
The icing didn’t quite reach the top, but if it had, the sprinkles would’ve prevented such a disaster!
