Even though February is the shortest month of the year, it still contains a comparatively long list of national holidays: Groundhog Day, Valentine’s Day, and Presidents’ Day, too name a few. Unfortunately, my music library doesn’t contain a whole lot of songs about groundhogs or presidents, so this playlist is mainly focused on l’amour. Though I usually start listening to Christmas music in January (it’s never too early!), I figured it best to wait until this first day of December to feature holiday tunes in my monthly playlist. While I love Mariah Carey, John Lennon, and Hanson, there are only so many times I can listen to their radio “classics” before I start to wish they’d never existed. Christmas music comprises a much wider variety than what popular media chooses to play on repeat.
